Consider Volunteering with us

Celebrate and Share India’s Culture at Balboa Park. House of India hosts a variety of vibrant cultural events throughout the year at Balboa Park. These programs showcase the richness of Indian traditions through food, music, dance, and community engagement. Signature events include: Lawn Program, Dandiya Under the Stars, Deepotsav – Festival of Lights, Ethnic Food Fair and, December Nights. In addition to these events, we invite volunteers to host at the House of India cottage on weekends. Volunteers greet visitors, answer questions, and help bring the exhibits to life. Hosting is a deeply rewarding experience—you’ll connect with people from around the globe while sharing the beauty of India’s heritage. Interested in volunteering?
