House of India organizes several events every year at Balboa Park – these events showcase India’s rich culture through food, music, and dance. We need enthusiastic volunteers to help us host these events. Additionally, once The House of India cottage is constructed, we will also need volunteers to open the cottage on Saturdays and Sundays, greet the visitors, and engage with them by answering any questions they may have as they walk through the display hall. The House of India is dedicated towards creating a greater awareness of India's rich and varied culture in the San Diego community. Through active participation in the events organized by the House of Pacific Relations in Balboa Park, the house strives to promote and showcase Indian art, history, music, dance and ethnic food. This allows us to share the joy and spirit of Indian traditions in San Diego. The House of India also provides an opportunity to interact with other cultures and promote universal understanding and appreciation.
